Google Akbar Photo Competition winner

London - Last November, a grand photo competition held by Google. Now called Google Photography Prize competition has a winner.

Of the total of about 20,000 entries from 146 countries, Viktor Johansson's photo series has attracted the attention of the jury and reward with the first winner.

The resulting photographs show a series of training a diver named Christopher Eskillson. The jury was impressed with his work because instead of showing pictures 'glamor' action as an athlete in a competition that is often generated media, Viktor actually perpetuate the practice session the athlete who feels alone, a long and tiring.

For his work, the 24-year-old student from Sweden is a chance to display his picture in the Saatchi Gallery, London. As reported previously, the winner also won the opportunity to take pictures anywhere he wanted in the company of a professional photographer.
